Michael Weston serves as Team Lead for Kinetic Vision’s Embedded Development Group. He is responsible for day-to-day operations as well as long-range planning for the group, which includes electrical engineering and simulation, PCB development, smart product development, IoT devices, and sensor integration. Weston is also responsible for software application development and integration for the Embedded Development team.
In addition to his work in Embedded Development, Weston has driven successful programs in product design at the company, including the development of:
● Next-generation medical device design, endo-surgery devices, and robotic surgery platforms
● Robotic fixture design for material analysis and nondestructive analysis using computed tomography (CT) scans.
● Home and healthcare product development, including aerosol and flexible packaging innovations.
● Development of sensor-based testing protocols for production line analysis.
● Small scale and ultra low power data logging and IoT platforms for industrial and consumer product testing.
