Consumer devices, from blenders to high-definition TVs, are increasingly sophisticated, but still must meet stringent certification standards. Despite varying complexity, all products must prove safety compliance. This paper discusses safety and compliance requirements for consumer products and home appliances, providing an overview of test requirements and applicable products.
