FUTURE INNOVATORS AWARD
Introducing a new program for higher education:
“Rewarding Engineering Education Excellence.”
As technologies evolve, it is imperative we engage college educators to inspire young engineers to enter the field of test engineering. By connecting major corporations and top-ranked Colleges of Engineering through financial incentive and published recognition, we encourage further exploration and acknowledgement of this vital industry.
EE invites U.S. Colleges of Engineering to submit their students’ projects in a competition for recognition and educational grant money.
Student Engineering Project Competition
Submission deadline: August 1, 2012
The Future Innovators Award will honor student individuals or teams who employ test-and-measurement, data-acquisition, sensing, or remote-monitoring technology in their current class projects.
EE editors will select finalists from the submissions and publish summaries of their work in the EE October 2012 issue.
EE readers will then be invited to vote for the winning project to be announced in the EE December 2012 issue. The Engineering Schools of the Finalists will each receive an educational grant, courtesy of our corporate sponsors, as well as published recognition in EE. The winning Engineering Schools may use the grant money for their department or for scholarship grants to the winning students.
