10 Watt DC/DC converter in DIP-16 package

TRACO Power’s TEL10 series of 10 watt DC/DC converters in the DIP-16 package measures 0.94 x 0.54 x 0.31". The series sets the new standard for 10 W power density with 3.83 W/cm3. Approved to UL62368-1 & UL60950, the TEL10 converters are economical solutions for space-critical and cost-sensitive applications in instrumentation, IT, and industrial electronics. The TEL10 features a 2:1 input ranging from 9-18/18-36/36-75 Vin and 14 single & dual output models of 3.3, 5.1, 12, 15, 24, ±12, and ±15 VDC. High efficiency up to 88% enables a full-load operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (3.3 & 5 Vout to 78°C Max). TRACO Power

50 GHz surface-mount mixers

Marki Microwave’s MM1-1850HSM and MM1-1850SSM double-balanced mixers are its first 50 GHz surface mount products. These GaAs MMIC mixers offer wide bandwidths and high linearity. With an RF bandwidth of 18 to 50 GHz and IF of DC to 21 GHz, these are ideally suited for electronic warfare, radar, multi-band 5G, and other K/Ka-band applications. Both mixers offer excellent spurious suppression with the MM1-1850SSM providing the highest linearity with +28 dBm IIP3. The MM1-1850HSM and MM1-1850SSM are offered in a 4x4 mm SMT package. Marki Microwave

FRA bundle of signal injectors

Picotest has released a new ‘FRA Bundle’ of signal injectors that enables Bode plots and PSRR (power supply rejection ratio) measurements for Keysight, Tektronix, Siglent, and Rohde & Schwarz oscilloscopes. The bundle works with the Keysight InfiniiVision X-Series with the power measurements option; Tektronix 5 or 6 series oscilloscopes using the 5-PWR or 6-PWR software; Siglent SDS1000X-E-FG series scopes with the appropriate firmware and SAG/SDG AWG support; and Rohde & Schwarz R&S RTM, RTA, and RTB oscilloscopes using the R&S RTx-K36 FRA option. Picotest

Next-generation inspection platform

Cohu introduces Neon, its next-generation inspection platform optimized for small, fragile semiconductors used in mobility and consumer applications. Neon can handle fragile wafer-level chip-scale products at high speed, maintaining high operational efficiency while inspecting small devices down to 0.4 x 0.2 mm in size. Neon features extended process integration capabilities and can be configured with infrared and visual micro-scale defect inspection modules, and is also equipped with an external loader unloader to integrate with factory robots for customers adopting Industry 4.0 initiatives. Cohu

Isolated quad RS232 serial communication modules

Acromag has expanded its offering of AcroPack rugged I/O modules based on the PCI Express mini card (mPCIe) standard, with a new isolated RS232 communication module. The AP513 module provides four individually isolated RS232 serial ports on a compact 30 x 70mm board. Each port is isolated to 250V from digital circuitry and 100V from the other three ports. The isolation protects equipment and signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. Designed for COTS applications, these mPCIe mezzanine modules deliver a SWaP-optimized solution for military, aerospace, and industrial systems. Acromag

Turnkey tester for 5G beamforming ICs

Rohde & Schwarz and Marvin Test Solutions have cooperated to create a unique turnkey solution suited for beamforming integrated circuits used in 5G mmWave (FR2) and satellite communications. The resulting production tester TS 900e-5G from Marvin Test Solutions is based on the new R&S ZNBT40 multiport vector network analyzer from Rohde & Schwarz. The R&S ZNBT40 is a multiport VNA with a frequency range from 100 kHz to 40 GHz, and characterization of beamforming ICs with typically 5, 9, or even 17 RF ports. Rohde & Schwarz

W-Band image rejected receiver

Model SSR-9330634030-10-M1-I from Sage Millimeter is a W-Band image rejected receiver. The receiver has a typical conversion gain of 30 dB, with a typical RF input power of -60 dBm in the frequency range of 90 to 96 GHz, and an IF output frequency range of 5 to 11 GHz. The receiver has a built-in x8 multiplier, which requires a typical input LO power and frequency of +5 dBm and 10.625 GHz, respectively. With the built-in IF hybrid, the receiver typically offers a 20 dB image rejection level. Sage Millimeter

13 GHz and 16 GHz oscilloscope models

Tektronix has expanded its scalable DPO70000SX Series Performance Oscilloscope to include new 13 GHz and 16 GHz models. The DPO70000SX Series oscilloscopes were initially developed to test the highest performance, highest speed serial and optical interface standards. With this platform extension, Tektronix is bringing these high-end capabilities to lower-speed interfaces such as USB, display port, HDMI, LPDDR, MIPI C-PHY, and D-PHY, plus legacy server storage applications. The new models offer four 50 GS/s sample rate input channels with the ability to synchronize up to four scopes for a total of 16 input channels. Tektronix
