Danny Scheffer has been active since 1995 in the field of CMOS image sensors. He began his career at IMEC and was one of the founders of Fill Factory (2000). After Fillfactory’s acquisition, Danny moved with the group to Cypress Semiconductor (2004 – 2011) before joining onsemi in 2011. Throughout the years, Danny has worked in many different roles related to CMOS Image sensors. He started as a designer, working with various foundry on technology development, and eventually started as Business Development Director running a global team pushing the products into the market.

Today, Danny works as a Product Line Director at onsemi within the Industrial and Commercial Solutions Division (ICSD) and is responsible for a number of product lines including the PYTHON and XGS product families. In his personal time, Danny is a fanatic motorcycle rider, cold water swimmer and long distance runner
