Summary
In this webinar, explore Keysight’s groundbreaking modeling techniques that are revolutionizing design for 5G, satellite communications, and defense systems. This session will cover two pivotal areas: overcoming GaN (gallium nitride) modeling challenges and tailoring foundry models to specific needs.
As the push for high-performance technologies in 5G base stations, LEO satellite systems, and defense technologies intensifies, accurate GaN modeling is essential. Discover why GaN’s superior performance requires sophisticated modeling to tackle non-linear behaviors such as self-heating and trapping effects. Our expert will showcase how Keysight addresses these challenges with CMC standard compact GaN models ASM-HEMT 101.4 and MVSG_CMC 3.2.0, covering DC, CV, S-parameters, self-heating, trapping extraction, large signal verification, and pulsed IV importation.
Next, we’ll explore the need for customizing foundry models to fit specific design requirements. Learn why this practice is becoming increasingly common and how to streamline the customization process. Get practical tips on tailoring models with tools like IC-CAP and MBP. Discover how these techniques can be applied in design houses to meet unique project demands.
Join us to see how these powerful toolsets and techniques can empower device modeling engineers and RF/uW and defense designers to achieve new design breakthroughs. Whether you’re working on enhancing 5G infrastructure or developing next-generation defense systems, this webinar will equip you with the knowledge and tools to stay ahead. Don’t miss this chance to elevate your projects and expand your expertise! Who should attend?
