Rust has garnered a lot of interest in the embedded community, but where do you stand with using it?

We've been covering Rust for a while now (check out Delivering Reliable, Rugged Rust). For those unfamiliar with Rust, it's a relatively new programming language that takes on C for low-level chores as well as higher-level languages for applications that require high-quality software. It uses language cues and static analysis to find problems at compile time. Check out the Embeddable Rust video for more details on Rust.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.
