Dr. Timothy Saxe joined QuickLogic in May 2001 and has served as senior vice president and chief technology officer since November 2008, chief technology officer and senior vice president, Engineering, since August 2006, and vice president, Engineering, since November 2001.
From November 2000 to February 2001, Dr. Saxe was vice president of FLASH Engineering at Actel Corp., a semiconductor manufacturing company. He joined GateField Corp., a design verification tools and services company formerly known as Zycad, in June 1983 and was a founder of its semiconductor manufacturing division in 1993. Dr. Saxe became GateField’s chief executive officer in February 1999 and served in that capacity until GateField was acquired by Actel in November 2000.
Dr. Saxe holds a BSEE from North Carolina State University, and an MSEE and PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University.
