Maxim’s Cupertino subsystem reference design is a drop-in-ready, isolated, 16-bit analogue front-end (AFE). The highly integrated subsystem reference design meets the requirements of industrial sensors, process control, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Analogue -10V to +10V, 0V to 10V, and 4mA to 20 mA inputs support the analogue outputs of industrial sensors. Both power and data are fully isolated. Maxim supplies all hardware design files, example driver code, and test results needed to accelerate design development. To support high or wide-ranging sensor output voltages, Cupertino provides an interface solution between the sensor and controller. It comes in a 96.52mm by 20.32mm form factor.
