Providing the low voltages required by ASIC-and DSP-based designs, the latest addition to the WPA50 family of eighth-brick dc-dc converters offers a single 1.2-V output. The converter integrates control and protection functions, including output trim, remote output sense, and a remote on/off capability. Input voltage ranges from 36 to 75 V dc. Pricing is under $50 each in OEM quantities.
