The Automotive Systems Division of Continental AG (www.conti-online.com) has opened an engineering center in Yokohama where it plans to create 250 new engineer positions.

The Automotive Systems Division of Continental AG has opened an engineering center in Yokohama where it plans to create 250 new engineer positions. The engineering center will be part of Continental Automotive Corporation, the Joint Venture between Continental AG and Nisshinbo. Continental sees the center as its most important research and development facility in Japan. It plans to focus on advanced driver assistant systems (ADAS), hybrid and electronics systems, and electronic and hydraulic brake systems.
