Honeywell licenses navigation technology to LG Electronics

Honeywell (www.honeywell.com) has licensed LG Electronics (www.lge.com) to use 12 Honeywell patents for GPS, vehicle navigation, and driver interface technology in automotive OEM and aftermarket applications.

Honeywell has licensed LG Electronics to use 12 Honeywell patents for GPS, vehicle navigation and driver interface technology in automotive OEM and aftermarket applications. Some of the patents relate to systems that use inertial components to supplement GPS accuracy. Others involve real-time traffic broadcasts and hazard avoidance. The technology was originally developed for aviation navigation.
