Visteon elevates Stebbins to CEO; Johnston continues as executive chairman

Visteon Corporation’s (www.visteon.com) board elected Donald J. Stebbins president and chief executive officer to succeed Michael F. Johnston.

Visteon Corporation’s board elected Donald J. Stebbins president and chief executive officer to succeed Michael F. Johnston. Stebbins was president and chief operating officer. Johnston will continue as executive chairman.

Stebbins will lead the development and execution of Visteon's long-term strategy while continuing to oversee the company's global operations, sales, manufacturing, product development, research and development, and customer relations. Johnston has been chairman and CEO since June 2005 and has held the CEO post since June 2004.
