The cPCI-6780 is a 6U high CompactPCI plug-in card that supports up to three 10/100-Mbit Ethernet ports. It comes standard with either a Pentium III or Celeron processor featuring up to 1.3-GHz speeds running on a combined Front Side Bus (FSB) at speeds of up to 133 MHz. This module supports most commercially available operating systems.

The dual-slot cPCI-6780 instantly provides 1.3-GHz power, speed, and memory with Intel's socket-370 for optional CPUs of Pentium III, Pentium III Tualatin, and Celeron processors. The CPU has on-die L2 cache up to 256 kbytes (CPU dependent) at maximum core speeds and a built-in housing for 2.5-in. low-profile HDDs.

It also has up to an additional 1.5 Gbytes of unbeffered RAM at either PC-133/100 SDRAM in three 168-pin DIMM 512-Mbyte modules. Supporting up to seven other computer boards/cards or PCI bus master devices, the modules come with enhanced IDE for up to four storage devices. There's room for an onboard 2.5-in. and a CompactFlash Type-II socket. The cPCI-6780 module complies with both PICMG 2.0 and 2.1 for CompactPCI hot-swapping.

Integrated with any CompactPCI chassis, the module is available from stock now at $1995.
