    The hot-swap-capable Schroff CompactPCI backplanes comply with PICMG 2.0 R. They're available in versions ranging from two to eight slots. The backplanes handle bridging without the loss of any slots using side-by-side mounting. The flat Schroff-bridge is located under the rear I/O boards. A 19-in. chassis can accommodate as many as 21 slots.
