Premier Farnell plc has added Chemtronics to the list of firms it markets products for around the world. Claiming to be the world’s largest catalog distributor of electronic and industrial components, the UK-based Premier Farnell operates directly in 22 different countries and trades products in a total of 100. Its Newark Electronics division (Chicago) is said to rank first among North American catalog distributors of electronic components. By signing a global distribution agreement with Premier Farnell, Chemtronics hopes to build market share both here and abroad for its entire line of products. Based in Kennesaw (Georgia) and a division of Illinois Tool Works Inc., Chemtronics manufacturers specialty chemicals, supplies and desoldering products used for repairing, reworking and cleaning pc boards and electronic and electromechanical assemblies.
