Isolation Transformers Require Little Real Estate

Oct. 1, 2001

Designed to reduce the amount of real estate use on the circuit board, the CEP series isolation transformers claim to provide performance levels similar to larger components. The components were developed in conjunction with IC manufacturers to meet agency requirements for supplementary insulation at 250V. The CEP 7 delivers EP 10 performance at 30% less the size, the CEP 9 provides EP 13 level performance at 40% less the size, and the CEP boasts of EP 13 performance in an EP 10 package.
