The ADLQM87HD 3.5-in., single-board computer (SBC) features Intel’s fourth-generation Intel Core processors plus its latest HD Graphics 4600 engines, along with support for DirectX11.1, OpenGL 4.0, and OpenCL 1.2. Developed by ADL Embedded Solutions, the Quad/DC i3/i5/i7-based SBC introduces Intel’s new AVX2 instruction set and TPM 1.2 and USB 3.0 functionality. It also supports video ports for DVI/VGA and HDMI/DP; three RS-232 COM ports; four 6-bit/s SATA ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, 10; eight USB 2.0 ports; three USB 3.0 ports; and two bootable Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. Expansion possibilities include a miniPCI socket and a 2-by-40-pin PCIe expansion connector with four PCIe x1 lanes or one PCIe x4 lane for additional breakout or mezzanine board functionality. Operating temperature ranges from −40 to +85°C, with ruggedization options available. The board suits ruggedized small-form-factor (SFF) systems, and integrates into the ADLMES-8200 modular enclosure. Applications include radar and sonar processing, image signal processing, tactical command and control, surveillance and reconnaissance, medical imaging, and industrial automation.
