PHEMT Low-Noise Transistors
Feature High Dynamic Range
The ATF-33143 and ATF-34143 are high-dynamic-range, low-noise pseudomorphic high-electron mobility transistor (PHEMT) devices. The devices are housed in 4-lead SC-70 (SOT-343) surface-mount plastic packages.

Due to its combination of low noise figure and high linearity, the ATF-34143 is ideal for the first stage of low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) in cellular/
PCS, GSM, TDMA, and CDMA basestations. The larger geometry of the ATF-33143 suits it for the first and second stages of LNAs. Also, it is easier to design for stability in the 800- to 900-MHz frequency range. Both transistors are widely used in wireless LAN and Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Service (MMDS) systems. The devices also work for systems requiring very low noise figure with high linearity in the 450-MHz to 10-GHz frequency range.

Thin-Film Inductors Boast
Very High Q And Tight Tolerances
The Accu-L series thin-film inductors are now available in a 0603 size. The devices feature very high Q and extremely tight tolerance (to ±0.1 nH). They also offer high SRF and low dc resistance. They're ideal for use in mobile communications systems, satellite TV receivers, GPS applications, filters, and matching networks.

Inductance values for the 0603 Accu-L series inductors range from 1.2 to 15 nH with tolerances to ±0.1 nH. They feature an operating-temperature range from −55°C to 125°C. The inductor meets both the performance and tolerance requirements of present cellular frequencies at 450, 900, 1700, 1900, and 2400 MHz. The capacitor's nickel/solder-coated terminations are compatible with virtually all automated assembly equipment. The capacitors are available in tape-and-reel packaging of 3000 and 10,000/reel.

The Accu-L series inductors cost approximately $0.12 each in quantity.

FM Radio Modules Suit One-To-One
And Multinode Wireless Links
The QFMT5 transmitters and QFMR5 receivers enable the implementation of a simple telemetry link over a distance of up to 1200 ft. This is achieved at data rates up to 128 kbits/s. The high-performance FM radio modules suit one-to-one and multinode wireless links. Operating on the 433.92-MHz frequency band, three data rates are offered as standard—15, 50, and 128 kbits/s. While the QFMT5 measures 32 by 13 by 3.4 mm, the QFMR5 measures 49 by 17 by 4.5 mm. Both the transmitters and the receivers are supplied in a miniature, fully shielded, SIL package. The QFMT5 transmitters operate on a 3- or 5-V supply with typical supply currents of 7 and 5 mA, respectively. The QFMR5 receivers operate on a 5-V supply with a 4.8-mA supply current.

Quantity pricing for the FM modules starts at $17.
