Designed for low-profile, bi-directional applications, such as rack-mounted linecards, this new line of beryllium copper (BeCu) EMI gaskets is available in a standard length of 411.5 mm or it can be cut to custom lengths. The BeCu gaskets are installed by hooking one end to the edge of the enclosure housing.Sporting a tear-drop profile for improved surface contact, the other end of the gasket is secured via a pressure-sensitive adhesive with an extra-wide release liner. The result is said to be a secure, no-snag bi-directional wiping action. The gaskets are available in low-force versions and with a variety of plating finishes.
