The CVCO33BE-6000-6000 voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), developed by Crystek, runs at 6000 MHz with a control voltage range of 0.5 to approximately 4.5 V. Typical phase noise reaches −85 dBc/Hz at 10-kHz offset, and linearity is excellent. Output power is usually +5 dBm. Input voltage measures 5 V, with 40-mA maximum current consumption. Pulling and pushing are minimized to 8.0 and 5.0 MHz/V, respectively. Second harmonic suppression approaches −20 dBc typical. The VCO is housed in an industry-standard 0.5- by 0.5-in. SMD package. Targeted applications include digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communications systems, and basestations. CRYSTEK CORP.
