Laird To Open Lab In Bangalore

Laird Technologies announced it will establish a Corporate Research Laboratory in Bangalore, India. The focus of the new laboratory will be to develop materials for use in electronic components and systems.

Bangalore, India—Laird Technologies announced it will establish a Corporate Research Laboratory in Bangalore, India. The focus of the new laboratory will be to develop materials for use in electronic components and systems. A range of technical specialists, including physicists, chemists, and material scientists, will be recruited to staff the laboratory. These technical specialists will augment Laird Technologies’ global engineering and technology staff of over 400. “We are very excited about the addition of our Bangalore-based Corporate Research Laboratory, and look to achieve significant return on this new investment in technical capability,” says Marty Rapp, CEO of Laird Technologies.
