The CRBV55CW-0500-1000 RedBox VCO operates at frequencies from 500 MHz to 1 GHz with a control-voltage range of 0.5V to 18V. Typical phase noise is -104 dBc/Hz at a 10-kHz offset with a typical output power of +7 dBm. Residing in a robust aluminum enclosure measuring 1.25” x 1.25” x 0.58” with SMA connectors, other features of the component include an input voltage of 12V, a maximum current consumption of 20 mA, minimal pulling and pushing at 4 MHz and 2 MHz/V, respectively, and a typical second harmonic suppression of -5 dBc.
