For low-power security apps, the MAX36051 security manager features 128 bytes of non-imprinting memory and draws 1.5 mA in standby mode. The device provides tamper detection regardless of the power source. A battery-backup controller function constantly monitors main power and automatically switches to battery when main power is low or not present. For battery conservation, various duty-cycle options facilitate low current consumption. Available in a 16-ball, 4-mm2 CSBGA, pricing is available under mutual NDA.
