Targeting challenging industrial environments, the 5.7” (diagonal) NL6448BC18-01 and NL6448BC18-01F TFT LCD modules with VGA resolutions feature white LED backlight systems. The NL6448BC18-01 is a standard model with a brightness of 400 cd/m2 and the NL6448BC18-01F module is a high-luminance model with a brightness of 800 cd/m2. According to the company, employing highly efficient white LEDs in the backlight system eliminates the need for an inverter circuit, reducing power consumption to 1.8W for the NL6448BC18-01 and 3.3W in the NL6448BC18-01F while maintaining a density of 140 pixels per inch for both modules. Shared features of the LCDs include viewing angles of 160? both horizontally and vertically, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, response time of 18 ms, and an operating temperature range, from –20?C to +70?C.
