NXP’s CBTL05024 high-performance switch supporting Thunderbolt features 10-Gbit/s performance with no external PIN diodes required, as well as improved signal integrity. It exceeds the new low-power requirement for bus-powered Thunderbolt devices. The CBTL05024’s interface consists of two 10.3-Gbit/s full-duplex data paths and enables fast data transfers between PCs and peripheral and display devices. It simultaneously supports data and display connections over a single cable. The CBTL05024 is available in a very small high-voltage quad flat no-lead (HVQFN) package.
