Affordable Rotation Stages Spin 360 Degrees

July 23, 2010
Described as cost-effective, the URS50BCC and the URS50BPP precision rotation stages feature 360 degrees of continuous motion and a 50-mm footprint.

Described as cost-effective, the URS50BCC and the URS50BPP precision rotation stages feature 360° of continuous motion and a 50-mm footprint. Both components provide backlash-free, continuous rotation with a MTBF up to 20,000 hours, low wobble, and 6-µm eccentricity. The URS50B uses a two-part bearing design with pre-tempered steel gears and bearings while the URS50BCC is a dc-motor version with index pulse. The URSBPP stepper motor version is suitable for less demanding, yet precision apps. A cable comes with the URS50B for plug-and-play compatibility with SMC, ESP, and XPS. NEWPORT CORP., Irvine, CA.
