Marvell’s ARMADA Mobile PXA1928 64-bit mobile system-on-a-chip (SoC) with production-ready five-mode modem is a Long Term Evolution (LTE) solution that supports mobile broadband standards such as LTE TDD/FDD, High Speed Packet Access Puls (HSPA+), Time Division HSPA+ (TD-HSPA+), and Enhanced Data for GSM Environment (EDGE). It also supports multi-radio, CSFB, and VoLTE voice solution for LTE networks, and feature the GC5000 GPU with full high-definition capability for media-centric mobile devices. Featuring the quad-core ARM Cortex A53MP application processor subsystem, the platform also implements the company’s Avastar 88W8887 802.11ac wireless local-area network (WLAN) with Bluetooth 4.0, FM single-chip SoC, and near-field communication. In addition, it incorporates the 88L2000 global-navigation-satellite-system (GNSS) hybrid location processor, multimode multiband LTE RF transceiver, an integrated power-management and audio-codec IC, eMMC mobile storage SSD controller, and Kinoma software capability. The SoC supports 1080p display and 1080p video encoding and decoding.
