The conga-BM57 COM Express module features the latest Intel CoreT i7-620M processor with a core speed of 2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 cache, and up to 8 GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory. Also packing a QM57 Express chipset, its integrated graphics controller supports the Intel Flexible Display Interface, allowing for two independent video channels on VGA, LVDS, HDMI, DisplayPort, or SDVO interfaces. Measuring 95 mm x 125 mm with a type 2 connector pin-out, the module also employs Turbo Boost Technology, which provides an on-demand boost in the clock speed for one processor core. This feature allegedly improves computing performance by as much as 25%. Other module features include five PCI Express lanes, eight USB 2.0 ports, three SATA interfaces, one EIDE interface, and a Gigabit Ethernet interface. CONGATEC INC., San Diego, CA. (760) 635-2600.
