The RTLVD-HVDPCI Blade, a Wide SCSI LVD/HVD expander, employs a multimode function that allows the LVD side of the interface to operate in either LVD or single-ended mode. The mode is detected automatically. This approach is said to extend the life of HVD legacy devices. The expander measures 6.402" x 6.193", supports 16-bit arbitration, and includes active-negation and data-deskewing circuitry. Additionally, it can perform as a SCSI isolator. Price is $365 each/250.
