Connectors Meet MIL-DTL-38999
Targeting future military applications, the Nemesis WT series sealed, miniature and lightweight connectors meet all MIL-DTL-38999 specifications and weigh less than 25g. They promise to continually function in all environments and a Super Clean (SC) version eliminates cleaning problems via a pull-back barrel that allows users to clean the connector in seconds. A full range of circular and rectangular versions are also in development. Nemesis connectors are also resistant to salt spray for more than 500 hours, measure less than 15-mm in diameter, and have an anti-reflecting coat. Maximum current rating is 3A and voltage rating is 200 Vac RMS at sea level. Minimum insulation resistance is 5,000 M? and maximum contact resistance is 8 m?. Additionally, operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +100°C and life span is to 2,500 cycles. ITT INDUSTRIES, CANNON, Santa Ana, CA. (714) 557-4700.
