Rugged, light weight, and long living, the 3800 Series rectangular I/O connectors employ a unique locking system that ensures reliable retention force. Extending the industry standard of 10,000 to 20,000 mating cycles, the connector contains18 contacts in a sequenced contact structure, with the first and eighteenth contacts being first make/last break. The connector body is 22.3 mm wide by 8.5 mm deep with a board-mounted profile of 5 mm and a weight of 1.39g. In addition to the 18-pin version, there are series with 10, 16, and 24 pins.
