AC/DC Power Supplies Reach 2,000 Watts

Designed to meet power requirements in moderate- to high-power telecommunication, industrial control and systems applications, the SCN-Series of high output enclosed switching power supplies achieves output power over the range of 600W to 2,000W. All models accept input from 90 VAC to 260 VAC and 23 models can give single outputs from 5 to 48 Vdc. All models have soft-start circuitry, remote sense and control functions, and integral EMI filtering. The SCN-Series devices have an integral power-good LED indicator, output adjustment potentiometer and operate over the temperature range of 0°C to 50°C without forced cooling or output power derating. All models contain over-voltage and short-circuit protection circuitry and have input-to-output isolation of 1.25 kV. Dimensions are as small as 11.4” long by 5.2” wide by 2.7” tall for the 600W version. Pricing is from $268 for the 600W version to $1,670 for the 2,000W version. ASTRODYNE, Taunton, MA.
