Solid Tantalum Chip Caps Trim ESR, Integrate Fuse

Feb. 17, 2010
TANTAMOUNT low-ESR solid tantalum chip capacitors feature a built-in fuse and are available in three molded case sizes
Specifying ESRs down to 0.25Ω at +25°C and 100 kHz, the TANTAMOUNT low-ESR solid tantalum chip capacitors feature a built-in fuse and are available in three molded case sizes. Their internal electronic fusing mechanisms activate within 0.1s with a minimum of 5A applied at +25°C. The capacitors are optimized for applications operating beyond 10A and offer a capacitance range of 0.47 µF to 470 µF in the C, D, and E case codes. Voltage range is from 4V to 50V over an operating temperature range of - 55°C to + 125°C. Pricing for the TF3 solid tantalum chip capacitors begins at $2 each.
