Converters Boost Accuracy Of Industrial Data Acquisition

Oct. 1, 1998

Capable of measuring ground-referenced signals without external level-shifting components, the CS5522, CS5524 and CS5528 A/D converters are said to improve the accuracy of industrial data acquisition while lowering system cost and complexity. The buffered, multi-channel, single-supply ADCs enable extremely precise measurements of temperature, pressure, voltage and current. Each of the three devices combines a low-noise, low-drift, chopper-stabilized instrumentation amplifier, a programmable gain stage, and an on-chip charge pump. The CS5522 comes in a 20-pin PDIP or SSOP; the CS5524 and CS5528 come in 24-pin PDIPs or SSOPs.
