Latch Provides Compression With Less Inside Protrusion

Jan. 1, 1999

Designed for use where inside protrusion is a concern, Vise Action Latch with less inside protrusion was developed for applications where compression is needed yet little room exists for the latch mechanism. The latch will tightly secure the housing without interfering with wiring or other internal contents. The protrusion is 23 mm less than a traditional vise action latch, and the latch applies a consistent pressure of up to 6.4 mm compression.
