Stereo ADC Tools Up For Portable Video Market

Groomed for use in portable audio/video equipment such as DVCs, DSCs and MD and MP3 players, the AK5354 a/d converter features an input mixer, input-programmable gain control, digital high-pass filter, and power management. The 20-bit stereo device operates on 2.5V and its digital power supply is enabled at 1.8V, meeting the low-voltage requirements for interfacing with peripheral logic LSIs. Other features include low power consumption and a built-in recording volume control and input selector. Pricing is $3.66 each/1,000.
