Sound Intensity Probe Works With Many Signal Analyzers

Aug. 20, 2010
Designed for direct compatibility with industry-standard signal analyzers and IEPE-type data acquisition devices, the Type 50GI debuts as the industry’s first Class 1, pre-polarized CCP (IEPE-type) sound-intensity probe.

Designed for direct compatibility with industry-standard signal analyzers and IEPE-type data acquisition devices, the Type 50GI debuts as the industry’s first Class 1, pre-polarized CCP (IEPE-type) sound-intensity probe. It comes in kit form with its own carrying case and all necessary supporting components including a phase-matched 0.5” pre-polarized intensity-microphone set (Type 40GK), two 0.25” CCP preamplifiers (Type 26CB), four solid interchangeable spacers, a windscreen, two BNC cables, and a probe handle. Both microphones and preamplifiers feature a robust stainless steel casing. The spacers allow microphones to be placed at varying lengths of 12 mm to 100 mm across a full frequency range of 50 Hz to 10 kHz and may be interchanged without dismantling the probe.
