The M300 Series Data Acquisition/Switch System, available from Saelig, combines precision measurement capability with flexible signal handling for applications that require testing of multiple points or signals. Developed by Rigol Technologies, the system integrates the company’s 6.5-digit digital multimeter (DMM) technology into a robust mainframe with up to five modules and up to 320 switch points. Its 4.3-in. LCD display and graphical user interface helps facilitate scan configuration, monitoring, and storage. Though the M300 can operate without a PC connection, it comes with UltraAcquire PC Software for advanced data-logging applications for LAN- or USB-connected remote control or data storage. Up to five M300s can be controlled simultaneously for parallel scanning and high-channel-count applications. In terms of multipoint temperature measurements, Rigol’s multiplexing modules simplify configuration of thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors to help maximize temperature-scan accuracy and throughput. Along with alarm and trigger connections, system interfaces include GPIB, LAN, LXI-C, USB, and RS-232.
