Women in Computing group recognizes Visteon CIO

The Ann Arbor chapter of the Association for Women in Computing named Visteon Corporation chief information officer Lorie Buckingham as a winner of the "Top Michigan Women in Computing" award for 2004.

The Ann Arbor chapter of the Association for Women in Computing named Visteon Corporation chief information officer Lorie Buckingham as a winner of the "Top Michigan Women in Computing" award for 2004. She is responsible for process leadership as well as all information technology activities at the company.

Buckingham joined Visteon in 2000 as director of global software solutions. Earlier she worked as director of enterprise information technology solutions for Union Carbide Corporation, and as CIO at Zonetrader.com, a Chicago-based provider of asset end-of-life-cycle management services. She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and chemistry from the State University of New York at Potsdam.
