Kazuyuki Kawauchi named president, CEO of Fujitsu Microelectronics America

Fujitsu Microelectronics America Inc. (FMA) has named Kazuyuki Kawauchi president and chief executive officer to succeed Kazuo "Ken" Iida, who becomes an advisor to Fujitsu Microelectronics America and will remain in the United States for a year.

Before joining FMA, Kawauchi had been general manager of the technology development division of the Electronic Devices Group of Fujitsu Ltd., where he was in charge of developing technologies and methodologies for 90 nm devices. Previously, he was vice president of Fujitsu's design methodology and infrastructure group, the WWSLT (Worldwide System LSI Technology), headquartered in Fujitsu Microelectronics in the United States.
