TTTech Computertechnik AG subsidiary TTTech Automotive has released a new version of TTX-Connexion, its portable test system for data manipulation, on-line viewing, and logging for FlexRay and CAN networks.

The system speeds system integration and vehicle testing by allowing engineers to combine CAN and FlexRay network as desired. The new version offers configurable, integrated termination resistors for all FlexRay and CAN buses that are connected to it. The resistors can be switched on and off using buttons on the system, eliminating the need for external termination resistors on the bus. The connectors have also been reengineered so that less area is needed for cabling.

TTX-Connexion's trigger concept has been optimized, with user-configured triggers now displayed on the system, facilitating configuration of the desired behavior. Enhanced data manipulation functions make it possible to carry out manipulations with the desired repetition. To keep current consumption low, particularly in vehicles that are not running, TTX-Connexion allows the user to put the device into a state in which current consumption is lower. Activation of the so-called "sleep state", as well as wakeup conditions, are configurable and can be given delay times.
