European Suppliers Set Up New Association

Leading suppliers of software to the automotive industry have set up the Association of European Suppliers for Automotive Software (AESAS).

Leading suppliers of software to the automotive industry have set up the “Association of European Suppliers for Automotive Software (AESAS). The central objective of the new association (www.aesas.org) is to optimize the economic framework conditions for the suppliers of automotive software located in Europe. AESAS sees itself as a supplement to the technical standardization initiatives for electronics in motor vehicles created by the automotive industry, such as AUTOSAR, FlexRay and LIN.

The founding members of AESAS include 3SOFT GmbH of Erlangen, Dependable Computer Systems (DECOMSYS), Hardware and Software Entwicklung GmbH of Vienna, Mentor Graphics (Deutschland) GmbH of Munich, Micron Electronic Devices AG of Neutraubling, Softing AG of Haar, TTAutomotive Software GmbH of Vienna and Vector Informatik GmbH of Stuttgart.
