Said to be quite versatile, the TX33 and TX31 temperature transmitters suit a wide range of applications including process control, automation systems, energy-source management, oil applications, paint-and-spray systems, and equipment maintenance in the transportation, petroleum, construction, and defense industries. The TX33 employs an analog, non-isolated, loop-powered RTD input with a 2-wire head-mount that converts the RTD into a proportional and linear output current. It promises easy calibration and low temperature drift. The TX31 is an analog, isolated transmitter with a 2-wire head-mount that converts a thermocouple input to voltage. Both units are multi-range selectable. Prices for the TX33 and TX31 are $95 and $185, respectively. OMEGA ENGINEERING INC., Stamford, CT. (203) 359-1660.
