The AutoStorePlus non-volatile static RAM memories are intended as direct replacements for encapsulated battery-backed SRAMs from STMicroelectronics and Dallas Semiconductor. The STK16C88-W45 is a 32k x 8 monolithic device that incorporates SRAM and backup EEPROM in a compact memory cell.A small capacitor is built into the 600-mil DIP, providing all the energy required for the backup store cycle and ensuring that the memory’s operation is totally transparent to the user. It’s a direct substitute for the Dallas Semiconductor DS1230 or STMicroelectronics M48Z30/32/35 parts. Access times are as fast as 20 ns. Samples are available immediately.
