Lead-Acid Battery Gets 14% Raise

June 1, 2001

The capacity of the PL-125 valve-regulated, lead-acid battery has been increased from 110 Ah to 125 Ah. This represents a 14% increase in capacity and, it is claimed, 25% more energy than front-terminal batteries with similar footprints. The power source incorporates absorbed glass mat technology to retain the acid between the plates for long life during float operation. A patented locking feature eliminates the need for users to attach connectors and bolts while reducing the risk of improper installation. Ergonomically designed, the battery measures 21.35" x 5.0" x 9.4". Pricing begins at $420 each.
