Introduced as the first member of the RT54SX32S family of radiation-tolerant FPGAs, the RT54SX32S is built with SEU-hardened latches, said to eliminate the need for software-based triple module redundancy. At greater than 63 MeV-cm2/mg SEU performance, the 32,000-gate, antifuse device exceeds the linear energy transfer threshold of greater than 37 MeV-cm2/mg. The latches total ionizing dose (TID) performance is reported as greater than 100 krad. Fully qualified to MIL-STD 883 Class B and Class S-equivalent, E-flow production quantities are available now. Software support is via the company's Libero integrated design environment. ACTEL CORP., Sunnyvale, CA. (888) 992-2835.
