Promoting even light distribution, the LP379 series LEDs in P4 packages feature a concave lens with a viewing angle of 120°. The water-clear lens allows for a more even distribution of light, eliminating the hot spots that can occur with traditional package styles. The LEDs rely on AlGaInP and InGaN/SiC technologies and are available in red (639 nm), yellow (594 nm), green (520 nm and 562 nm), blue-green (502 nm), and blue (465 nm). In 7.6 mm x 7.6 mm 4-lead packages, they deliver intensities up to 4,200 mlm. Depending on color and die technology, prices range from $0.21 to $0.43 each/5,000.
