Designed for high temperature environments from −40°C to 85°C either indoors or out, the UW3804X and UW5805S white LEDs deliver a luminous intensity up to 2,000 mcd with a forward current of 20 mA. They are fabricated from an InGaN die and come in a water-clear lens with up to a 50° viewing angle depending on package. Other features include a power dissipation of 107 mW, 25 mA forward current, 60 mA peak forward current, and a reverse voltage of 5V. Derating is from 0.33(dc) 0.85(pulse) mA/°C. The through-hole LEDs come in either a 3 mm (UW3804X) or 5 mm (UW5805S) package with prices beginning at $0.95 each/100. STANLEY ELECTRIC SALES OF AMERICA, INC., Irvine, CA. (800) 533-5231.
