Providing its customers with complete application-specific printer solutions is the goal of the Micro Printer Division of Seiko Instruments USA Inc., Torrance, CA, which recently added Telpar Inc., Dallas, TX, a developer and manufacturer of printers for the kiosk, ATM, instrumentation and standalone printer markets using both direct thermal and impact technologies, to its roster of national distributors. Under terms of the agreement, Telpar will distribute Seiko's entire line of handheld, portable and kiosk thermal printers, sub-assemblies, mechanisms and accessories. The agreement expands Seiko's distribution of thermal printing technology within the emerging mobile and wireless applications markets and broadens Telpar's selection of thermal printer solutions for its customers.
